Saltwater Fishing

Sportsman Fishing Adventures has 2 boats: 23' Bertram and 18' Sportsman. Both boats are fiberglass hulls with the necessary safety equipment on board. The Bertram has a walk in head. We are fully insured! Your accommodations are an environmentally friendly floating lodge. Your meals, bedding, tackle, rain gear, cleaning and packaging of fish are included.   Processing and smoking can be arranged (you are responsible for costs).  You are responsible for your fishing license (can be purchased in the sound), own alcohol, footware and clothing. Hourly rates include box lunch and cold/hot drink. A deposit is required up front and non refundable unless contacted 60 days prior to confirmed date. Remainder of cost to be paid in full upon arrival.

SALMON:
(10 hours fishing, meals and 1 nights accomodation for one person)
2 Day Packages - $856 CAD or $550 US
3 Day Packages - $1284 CAD or $820 US
4 Day Packages - $1712 CAD or $1095 US

For those of you who want to drive in and fish for the day our rates are:
$64.20 CAD per hour for the boat. 3 people maximum per boat.  (6 hr. min for salmon,  8 hr. min for halibut).

HALIBUT AND BOTTOMFISH:
(10 hours fishing, meals and 1 nights accomodation for one person)
2 Day Packages - $856 CAD or $550 US

Steelhead Fishing

The popular river we guide is the Gold River, renown for it's beauty and magnificent trophy steelhead fishing. We will also guide you on the Burman, Conuma, Houston, Jacklah, Megin, Mooyah, Muchalaht, Nimpkish, Salmon, Silverado, Sucwoa, Tlupana, White and Wilson Rivers. When fishing the watersheds within the Gold River area, your accommodations will be in deluxe rooms at the Ridgeview Motel.  A box lunch and cold/hot drink are provided each day.  Fishing gear will be provided upon request.  You are responsible for all other meals, fishing license, and transportation to Gold River. 

Our guides are in the top 10% of all guides in Gold River.

2 Day Packages - $642 CAD Per Person or $415 US (8 Hours/Day Fishing)
3 Day Packages - $963 CAD Per Person or $615 US (8 Hours/Day Fishing)

DAY RATES ARE $64.20 CAD PER HOUR (4 hour minimum)

Trout Fishing

If it's freshwater fishing you're interested in, we have packages for Trout and Steelhead. Each one is set up to meet your demands. We have professional licensed guides for lakes, rivers and streams.

You are responsible for your fishing license (can be purchased in Gold River), footwear and clothing. A deposit is required up front and non refundable unless contacted 60 days prior to confirmed date. Remainder of cost to be paid in full upon arrival.    All prices are based on two persons unless otherwise specified.            

We will take you backpacking for 2-3 days or more into some of the most remote lakes and rivers in the area. Or we will drive you to a local lake or river for a days fishing and then drive you back to your accommodations that night. The next morning we'll start over again if you so desire.

The species of freshwater fish that you will be targeting are: Cutthroat Trout, Dolly Vardon Trout, Rainbow Trout and Steelhead. When regulations permit we have Chinook and Coho packages too.

Want a wilderness experience you'll never forget? We'll hike you in to remote lakes to fish for 2-3 days and supply the guides, fishing tackle, float tubes, waders, tents, cooking utensils, food, first aid kit and sleeping bags.
